CONGRATULATIONS to all newly engaged couples and Happy New Year to everyone! I hope you had a safe and happy festive season. If you're just starting out on your wedding planning journey, or you've been getting things organised for a while, I'd be very happy to discuss your wedding plans. Please let me know if you have any questions about what is possible with wedding video.
Bookings have been coming in for 2021, 2022 and a few early-birds for 2023! There is still quite a few dates available for later this year (when hopefully everything will be back to normal) so it's not too late to enquire. Whichever stage you're at, I hope you enjoy the wedding planning adventure. There's a lot of decisions to be made, but there's also plenty of friendly suppliers to help you achieve the day of your dreams. Here's a recent highlights video for the lovely Isobel and Andrew (and their two very cute dogs!)...
What a crazy and worrying time this is, I hope everyone is staying safe and well. Thank you to our NHS heroes. I'm really missing filming weddings, this is the longest I haven't filmed for in many years. My heart goes out to everyone who has had to rearrange their big day, I'm sure it's a very stressful experience but rest assured that I'll do everything I can to help if you need to postpone or just to talk things through.
If you're still looking for a videographer, whether it's for 2020, 2021 or beyond I'd be really pleased to discuss your plans whether it's a new enquiry or for a rearranged date. Just think, once all of this is over weddings will be a wonderful time for us all to come together and celebrate again. In the meantime here's a highlights video from a wedding last year, for the lovely Emily and Jack at Moddershall Oaks.
The New Year is upon us! 2019 flew by, but it was full of so many wonderful weddings all across Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. I had a great year, my busiest so far and 2020 is already looking set to be another great year of wedding videography.
I'm also booking now for 2021 and 2022, it's never too early to get your wedding video organised! I'm entering my 10th year of filming weddings, it's a job I've loved since the start, long may it continue! Whatever stage you're at in the planning journey I hope it's all going brilliantly and if you need any advice or help please let me know. I'm always very happy to meet up with couples to discuss the joy of wedding videography!
What an awesome summer it has been! It's been a busy season full of beautiful wedding days across Shropshire, the Midlands and UK. I've really enjoyed meeting and working with many lovely couples and working alongside excellent photographers, venues and other wedding industry vendors.
Filming and editing has kept me busy enough to have not kept up with blogging, so I'll be sharing lots of wonderful weddings soon. In the meantime here's a few highlights videos from the wedding season...
Steph and Chris married at the beautiful Rowton Castle:
Ali and Jimmy celebrated their wedding in their local church and a marquee near Whitchurch:
Lauren and Jack married at the awesome Mill Barns, near Bridgnorth:
Helen and Leon married at a very picturesque church in rural Shropshire just next door to the groom's family farm. A stunning ceremony was followed by a reception at the always fantastic Tern Hill Hall.
I had lots of fun filming this relaxed wedding day, congratulations to Helen and Leon!
Tash and Dan married at the secluded, beautiful Modershall Oaks in Staffordshire. This was my second visit to this excellent venue over the summer and as always the lake provided a stunning backdrop for the outdoor ceremony.
A great day was had by all, congratulations Tash and Dan!
The lovely Danielle and Joe married at a Catholic church local to them in Hemel Hempstead, near London. The reception was in a marquee back at the family farm which provided a beautiful backdrop.
Myself and second shooter Lewis had a lot of fun filming for Danielle and Joe. The band started early and didn't stop all day and a tasty Italian banquet was served. Later the dance floor was packed as everyone enjoyed the party. Congratulations to Danielle and Joe!
Laura and Josh married at the beautiful Henley Hall near Ludlow in Shropshire. This excellent new venue provides a stunning setting and I had lots of fun filming for this lovely couple.
Traditional fairground games kept everyone entertained and an elegant afternoon tea went down well. The dance floor was packed all night! Congratulations to Laura and Josh!
Olivia and Ian married at the stunning Badger church followed by a marquee reception back at the bride's family home. I filmed the bride's brothers wedding back in 2015 and so it was lovely to be back for this one.
A great day was had by all, from the vintage tractor ride, to the celebrity DJ, Radio 1s Scott Mills! Congratulations to Olivia and Ian!
The lovely Cat and Tom married at Alveley Church with a reception at The Mill Barns. This spectacular venue has been proving really popular with engaged couples and it's easy to see why. Nick's enjoyed filming there many times since it opened and it always works really nicely.
The day was lots of fun, with music in the church from the Salvation Army brass band, a red London bus and a full flash-mob first dance, featuring some excellent moves from ushers, bridesmaids and the couple themselves. Congratulation to Cat and Tom! |
