Questions & Answers
Q. Do you direct any parts of the day?
No, in general Nick doesn't ask for anything to happen on the day, preferring to follow events as they unfold. We think it helps to make a natural, relaxed video.
Q. Do you have insurance?
Yes, Nick Boy has public liability insurance to the value of £5 million. Proof of this is available on request (some venues may ask for this). We also have equipment insurance.
Q. What happens if you're ill?
So far Nick has never actually taken a day off work from ill health. In the event of a major injury or illness he'd plan to use his extensive network of professional videographers from across the Midlands to cover your wedding.
Q. Do you offer extra features?
Yes, Nick has a range of extra features which are available with any of our packages. These include guest messages, Instagram trailers and additional filming time. Find out more here.

Q. Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, Nick is very happy to discuss payment terms to suit you. That could be monthly regular payments or instalments at intervals to suit you. In general the deposit payment is required to secure your date and the balance is due by 14 days before your wedding day.
Q. What happens if the schedule slips on the day?
It's no problem at all. All of our packages are based on covering events as they happen rather than a fixed number of hours, so if things slip a little it's not an issue.
Q. What happens if it rains?
It's no problem, we'll work with the weather and make sure you still get a great video. The main thing is to get married and have fun and that will still absolutely happen.
Q. Will you travel to my wedding?
Yes, Nick will travel anywhere in the UK and internationally. In general travel is included with the package prices up to about an hour from Shrewsbury. After that Nick can provide a small travel quote to cover the additional expenses.
Q. Do we feed you on the day?
If you'd like to that'd be brilliant and much appreciated, but it's absolutely not essential.
Q. Is there any part of the day you don't film?
In general once the wedding breakfast begins Nick will take a break, to charge batteries and backup footage. We've also found that, in general, guests are not too keen on being filmed whilst eating.
Q. What equipment do you use?
Nick films with Fuji and Sony camera equipment. Sound recording is covered with small Sony recorders, hidden away. It's a small kit, suitable for discreet operation with high quality results.
Q. Are the packages customisable?
Yes, all of our packages are completely customisable. We offer a flexible, adaptable service. Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss a custom wedding video.
