Q. Do you direct any parts of the day?No, in general Nick doesn't ask for anything to happen on the day, preferring to follow events as they unfold. We think it helps to make a natural, relaxed video.
Q. Do you have insurance?Yes, Nick Boy has public liability insurance to the value of £5 million. Proof of this is available on request (some venues may ask for this). We also have equipment insurance.
Q. What happens if you're ill?So far Nick has never actually taken a day off work from ill health. In the event of a major injury or illness he'd endeavour to use his extensive network of professional videographers from across the Midlands to cover your wedding.
Q. What happens if the schedule slips on the day?It's no problem at all. All of our packages are based on covering events as they happen rather than a fixed number of hours, so if things slip a little it's not an issue.
Q. What happens if it rains?It's no problem, we'll work with the weather and make sure you still get a great video. The main thing is to get married and have fun and that will still absolutely happen.
Q. Can you provide online reviews?Yes, you'll find reviews on this site and also on Google and on our Facebook page, directly from brides and grooms, click here to visit us on Facebook.
Q. What do you wear at weddings?Nick dresses professionally at every wedding, typically a blazer, shirt and black trousers. Nick's ambition is to blend in with the guests discreetly.
Q. Do you bring spare kit?Yes, Nick brings multiple spare cameras, batteries, and sound recorders, so we're well covered.

Q. Will you travel to my wedding?Yes, Nick will travel anywhere in the UK. In general travel is included with the package prices up to about an hour from Shrewsbury. After that Nick can provide a small travel quote to cover the additional expenses.
Q. Do we feed you on the day?If you'd like to that'd be brilliant and much appreciated, but it's absolutely not part of the contract.
Q. Is there any part of the day you don't film?
In general once the wedding breakfast begins Nick will take a break, to charge batteries and backup footage. We've also found that, in general, guests are not too keen on being filmed whilst eating.
Q. What equipment do you use?Nick films with Fuji and Sony camera equipment. Sound recording is covered with small Sony recorders, hidden away. It's a small kit, suitable for discreet operation with high quality results.
Q. Are the packages customisable?Yes, all of our packages are completely customisable. We offer a flexible, adaptable service. Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss a custom wedding video.
Q. What is your delivery time?Normally we deliver your final videos within 4-5 weeks. This can be slightly longer in the peak summer season, but in general we keep up with this schedule. Instagram trailers are delivered the day after your wedding.
Q. Have you shot at my venue?If you can't find any examples from your venue on the website please get in touch as we may well have some previous work to show you. Nick has filmed at hundreds of wedding venues over the years, including all of the main venues in Shropshire.
