Introducing Nick Boy
Being in the wedding business is great, I'm very lucky to have a job I love. Filming weddings is great fun and I look forward to capturing memories in the best way possible for all of my clients.
I've been working with cameras for all of my professional life. After growing up in Walsall, and then Shrewsbury I moved to Cornwall to study at Falmouth School of Art. From there I headed to London and began a career in television production. Over the next 12 years I had the pleasure of working on more than 100 TV programmes for the BBC, ITV, C4, Discovery and C5. I was lucky enough to film all around the world, including trips to Hong Kong, Japan, the Middle East, the USA and all across Europe. In 2011 I moved back to Shropshire and established my wedding video business, after a friend asked if I'd film their wedding. That first wedding was great fun and I was hooked. I always hope to be a friendly, discreet, professional presence on every wedding day, blending in with the guests and capturing the atmosphere of your day on video. I'm based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and cover wedding across the Midlands, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire as well as all across the UK. Also, yes, Boy really is my surname! It comes from the European side of my Dad's family. I also run Oxbow Media, a corporate production company, offering video and photography for business, charities and community groups. Away from work I'm a keen DIY house renovator, I have a Lego obsessed son, Isaac (who can often be found earning his pocket money by charging batteries and loading the car!). |
